      My research focuses on theoretical and applied computational geodynamics. Details are followed as below.

• Surface/Subsurface deformation and its mechanisms
• Numerical modeling on fluid flow-stress/strain-temperature coupled processes
• Crustal/lithospheric stress and strain evolutions during earthquake cycles
• Rheology and crustal/lithospheric geodynamic processes
• Numerical modeling on fault interactions, and earthquake triggering
• Numerical modeling on seismicity in a faut system; synthetic seismic catalogs 
• Earthquakes and subduction processes
• Numerical modeling on geological evolution of salt structures
• Stresses, pore pressures and fluid flow around salt structures
• Geomechanics, rock and soil mechanics, and wellbore stability near salt bodies
• Numerical modeling on metallogenic geodynamics
